    13 Caribbean Nations.
    One Delegation.
    One Orbit.

The Caribbean is claiming its place in the global space economy. Mission ShakthiSAT is a historic global lunar satellite mission. As the flagship moment of this movement, a select cohort of student scientists and ambassadors will travel to New Delhi, India, to apply what they’ve learned and help assemble a CubeSat payload that will orbit the Moon.

    THE DELEGATION

    Meet the cadets

Scientists, dreamers and future quantum engineers, each one carrying her island’s flag to Delhi.

    FUND THE MISSION

    Every dollar
    has a destination

Every dollar raised is credited to a Mas Camp, never to a person, and directly funds the local educational infrastructure in the Caribbean. It buys airfare, board, insurance, mentorship and lab access for the delegation as a whole, so every place secured is a place the camps can fill. The delegation is cadets, Territory Ambassadors and mission advisors travelling together, and the fund is pooled, not divided. Pick your Mas Camp first; the money is credited to the camp and your name lands on its standings the same day.

    ABOUT THE MISSION

    A permanent pipeline,
    from islands to orbit

We are establishing a permanent pipeline to upskill our region for aerospace and space-tech careers through local hackathons, hands-on engineering, quantum literacy and CanSat training. A CanSat is a miniature training satellite built inside a soda can-sized casing, allowing students to master the exact mechanics of satellite engineering right from their own classrooms.

But what does this look like on a global stage? As the flagship moment of this movement, a select cohort of student scientists is traveling to Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida, about ninety minutes from Delhi airport, where the mission lab is based. When they land, they are going straight to work. They will suit up in a hyper-sterile aerospace cleanroom to help assemble and test a live 1U-class lunar science payload.

This payload is a specialized instrument that will be mounted directly to a lunar lander. Its mission is to measure how the spacecraft’s engine interacts with the Moon’s surface dust, known as regolith. By building these exact components, our cadets are mastering real world CubeSat technology and securing the Caribbean’s place in the global space economy.
