    Latin American & Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE) Formally Established

    The charter for the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE) has entered into force, creating the region's first dedicated intergovernmental body for coordinating peaceful space technology research and applications. Headquartered in Mexico City, ALCE's founding Caribbean members include Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia, and St Vincent.
